Detailed programme:

We offer a 3 day stay in a guest house for an immersion in the local culture.
Corinne, passionate about cooking (she has a thousand cooking books!) and Benoit, qualified to take people to go walking in the mountains, welcome you into their house in Saint-Jeannet, a small village in the hinterland of Nice.

Wednesday:
- 8 h-10h: Arrival, coffee
- 10 h – 12h30: Visit of the historical part of Nice, including the famous Cours Saleya market.
- 12h30 – 14h30: Lunch break in the old town with local specialities, followed by a nice coffee break and ice cream on Place Rossetti.
- 14h30 – 17h30: Wine tasting at St Jeannet vineyard (9 wines)
- 19h30: Dinner in a restaurant in the village

Thursday:
- 8h - 10h: Breakfast
- 10h – 12h30: Cooking session after breakfast at The Frogs’house to prepare the meal
- 12h30 – 14h30: Enjoy the fruits of our labor at lunch on the Frogs’ House terrace.
- Afternoon: OPTIONS: after a nap, visit the Matisse Chapel in Vence or visit a traditional oil mill.
- 19h30: Dinner. Second night.

Friday:
- 8h - 10h: Breakfast
- 10h: Hike on the Baou (uncover traces of the past, discover the local flora and fauna and fabulous landscapes). A 360° view from the top of the Baou.
- 12h30 – 14h: Picnic lunch prepared by Corinne at the top of the Baou.
- 14h – 16h30: Descent to the village. Guided tour through the village of St Jeannet.
- 19h30: Dinner. 3rd night

Saturday:
- 8h - 10h: Breakfast. Departure. A transfer is possible to the airport or train station.

Place: Saint Jeannet is a charming and typical french medieval village, perched at the foot of the Mediterranean hills called « Baou ». Only 15kms away from Nice Côte d’Azur and the French Riviera, but so much more quiet and relaxing. Its position at 450m of altitude offers a great view on the coast and a moderate temperature in the middle of the summer.

Dates: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week.

Accommodation: The house is a former family hotel reorganised into a warm and comfortable Bed & Breakfast.
The house is equipped with:
- rooms with balconies and a stunning view over the sea and rooms without balconies with view on the provençal hills,
- a sunny terrace to enjoy delicious breakfasts,
- a cosy kitchen to share happy moments,
- a small lounge room to read a nice book and relax,
- a free Wifi access in the all house and a computer at disposition,
- free landline phone calls overseas.

Single room with balcony: 650 €
Double room without balcony: 490€ / person

It does not include diners but there are some restaurants in the village near the house.
We particularly recommend the Petit Grillon with Teresa and the Chante Grill with Sebastian for their cuisine both traditional and creative. And for the best pizza in the Côte d'Azur, we recommend the Vieux Four with Philippe who will take good care of you.

Good to know:
Through their activities, Corinne and Benoit want to encourage local production, organic farming and minimize the impact on the environment.
That is why they are currently enrolled in the process of obtaining the label « Clé Verte » and « Quality Tourism » for the accommodation and the outdoor activities.
