For nature and animal lovers!
The program takes place on the Malaysian island of Borneo. Borneo is a place of great biodiversity, but the regression of the tropical rainforest poses a threat to many plant and animal species.
That's why our partner, APE Malaysia, is developing programs to raise awareness of these problems and the means to solve them. The organization focuses on conservation and improving animal welfare, both in captivity and in the wild.
As a volunteer, plant trees with your family in the fragmented forests along the floodplains of Lower Kinabatangan, where flora and fauna are abundant but threatened by habitat loss. You and your family can help the local community and observe orangutans, macaques, hornbills and other Borneo wildlife in their natural habitat.
