Accommodation

Full board accommodation with a hostfamily. Breakfast and Dinner every day at the family’s. Lunches are taken at local partner shops during week days and with the family during weekends.
Young people stay with a host family, as this allows them to be fully immersed in the French way of life in a safe environment. All of our families are vetted and provide us with a criminal record extract (‘extrait de casier judiciaire’). Your child can stay in the same family as his/her friend(s) if requested, and travel into school with them. Families are carefully selected according to their location- from 5 minutes on foot from the school to 35 minutes away by tram- and for the quality of their welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover a new culture and meet new friends !

Location

The school is located right in the heart of Montpellier, near Place de la Comédie.

Montpellier is an ideal destination for a French language course for teenagers. The city centre is mainly pedestrianised, public transport is excellent, accommodation is close to the school and shops and the beaches are within easy reach.

Eligibility

Teenagers aged 16 -18 years old. Younger people can take part to a family course when travelling with their parents.

Living Conditions

Safety :
⦁    Arrival and departure transfers from/to Montpellier airport or railway stations are organised by our host families
⦁    For the excursions and other journeys the students have to take during their stay, transport is by private coach
⦁    Compulsory attendance in lessons

⦁    Parental authorisation for minors.
Authorisations to go out are checked by our activity leaders and are subject to parental control. Students automatically have the right to go out alone when lessons end at 12.15 until dinner time at 19.00. Students must take part in all activities and excursions which are scheduled on the programme. For the evenings, after dinner, there are two possibilities : 1) the student is not allowed to go out alone in the evenings ; 2) the student is allowed to go out alone in the evening but only after 20.30 and up to 22.00, when he/she MUST be back in the host family. Parents will be informed immediately if a student does not respect these rules.
