Bamenda Volunteer in an eco-village in Cameroon

The aim of this eco-village is to bring city dwellers together to reconnect with ecological lifestyles and nature, and to immerse themselves in ecological living.

The volunteer's role :

As a volunteer, you will share in the daily life of the family in the eco-village:

• You'll take part in organic farming: growing flowers and vegetables, planting trees and caring for animals.
• You'll be taking part in the construction process, building a pond for the fish, a henhouse with wood, feeding the animals and building eco-huts.
• You'll also be able to take part in the family's daily chores, including cooking typical dishes with them.
• You'll be introduced to the culture of the field by exhibiting arts and crafts (farming tools, musical instruments and hunting implements) from the region and Cameroon as a whole.

Volunteers work around 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday (with flexible working hours).
