Actors, Sculptors and Cooks is a full-immersion camp with week-long sessions for Italian children (ages 7-16) who want to learn the English language by living it in joyful and profound experiences with a staff made up of artists, cooks, writers, and people who love being in the country. 

The children learn a lot almost without noticing -- by living the language directly; the language becomes a necessary window they look at life through. Children also create diaries the first afternoon and write in them each evening about their days.

The programme is run by a not-for-profit Italian arts and educational institute founded in 1991.

Volunteers will help with all the activities. Usually volunteers are assistants, but sometimes you can be the main teachers as well after a few weeks. Everyone's experience is different ; we work out the details together on skype or whataspp before you come. -- and then of course things sometimes change and evolve when you're here. The local team has been doing this for ten years and have lots of ideas and materials but they are also open to your input. They will help you learn how to teach – so they won't leave you on your own.
