A 67 year old man moving in with a young family for 4 weeks is risky. Risky for both parties. It takes courage from the family and courage from the man ( me). And the fact that we both had that courage is why the union worked so seamlessly. We both wanted it to work and my positive was met with their positive. We grew comfortable and rich in our success. The risk had paid off handsomely. Their English improved 50 percent my French probably 30.We cooked together. My garlic bread is now a staple on the dinner menu. We laughed, travelled together, talked and made plans for the future, together. Thank you Aliore for making this possible.
