The Nakuru Wildlife Conservation Programme offers an exciting opportunity to engage in wildlife conservation while exploring Africa’s breathtaking landscapes. Located in a beautiful nature reserve, you will help monitor the Rothschild’s giraffe, an endangered species, participate in ecological monitoring, and support conservation efforts aimed at protecting this iconic animal.
You will also take part in habitat restoration, tree planting, and community-based activities that promote sustainability. This programme gives you the opportunity to make a real impact on nature conservation while discovering local cultures and their efforts to preserve the environment.

Programme Highlights:

The accommodation centre is located near Greensteds International School and is only a few minutes’ walk from the southern entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park. It is approximately 15 kilometres from the city of Nakuru.
The food provided will mainly consist of Kenyan dishes. This cuisine typically includes a variety of vegetables, potatoes, eggs, bread, and pancakes commonly known as chapati, as well as an assortment of fruits such as oranges, bananas, and avocados.
