Ah the Italian cuisine... Something simple, but full of taste ! Who wouldn't want to know its secrets ? So here's a programme combining Italian culinary experiences with a language class suitable for all levels, for a total immersion in the culture and the everyday life of the inhabitants of the Italian peninsula.
One week with our partner school is organized as follows :
Language courses take place in the morning, from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday, with a 20-minute break. Classes are divided by level and into small groups, from a minimum of three people to a maximum of six.
You can join the classes every Monday after a level test to ensure you are in the most suitable class.
The culinary experiences include three afternoons a week devoted to special activities based around Italian cuisine and its basic products.
For example
- preparation and tasting of traditional dishes, followed by dinner with the family in an Italian home ;
- a visit to an agri-food company, with the possibility of typical dinners and tastings of local dishes and wines;
- meeting and helping local fishermen, followed by dinner in a typical seaside restaurant.
A teacher accompanies the participants.

The school offers accommodation with host families in order to make easier the immersion in the Italian language and culture outside the classroom.
Host families are selected by the school and the payment is made directly to the the family. The type of room can be single or double.

Orbetello is a nice village surrounded by the sea in Tuscany, just over one hour and half by train from the capital. Orbetello is located in the middle of à wonderful costal lagoon. It is also the ideal spot for observing numerous species of water birds and other animals that inhabits the dunes.
ORISTANO (Sardinia)
It is the main town in central-west Sardinia, the gateway to an infinite number of natural beauties and the noble soul of the island, thanks to its historical monuments. You'll be fascinated by Oristano's attractions all year round : from the Sartiglia to its monuments, the good food and the big number of dream beaches along the coast.
