Soqtapata focuses on two areas: science and social development. Depending on the projects underway, tasks may be adapted. Activities vary depending on the season and the projects underway, but you will always be at the heart of the action. At Soqtapata, 50% of your time will be spent on necessary tasks. The rest of the time is free for you to enjoy nature as you wish.
You will take part in construction work, trail maintenance, exploration, species inventory, camera trap retrieval, work sessions with neighbouring schools, etc.
Available all year round, but between January and March it is important to note that this is the rainy season.
2 weeks minimum and 12 weeks maximum.
You will be accommodated in the base camp, a raised platform with tents, bathrooms and hot showers.

The price varies depending on the number of volunteers who will be on site at the time of your volunteering, ranging from 560€ to 630€ for two weeks. If you want to stay longer, the price is discounted.
Be over 18 years of age and have a basic level of Spanish and/or English.
The journey to the Soqtapata reserve starts from the city of Cusco. You will find all the logistical information on the detailed information sheet that will be sent to you.
In addition to accommodation, the price includes three meals per day, suitable for vegetarians/vegans as well as those with no dietary restrictions (please notify us in advance).
