Emily, placed near Toulouse

I have just returned from an incredible 3 months in Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds (20 minutes from Toulouse) and I cannot thank Aliore enough for pairing me with such a wonderful family! Soizick is a fantastic coordinator and throughout the application process and placement organisation she was approachable, quick to respond and is clearly passionate about what she does. I really appreciated her dedication to finding a family that showed a genuine desire to make my experience as memorable as possible and allow me the space to help their children improve their English - they honestly couldn't have done enough for me and I shared some amazing experiences with them during my time there.

The price of the homestay tutoring programme was very attractive and affordable for such an enriching experience, and particularly for the length of time I spent in France. Through consistent everyday immersion in the French language and culture as well as meaningful conversations with my hosts, their extended family and friends, my French undoubtedly improved - particularly my comprehension and confidence in my ability which I'm incredibly grateful for! I'm sure I'll keep in touch with my hosts and be back to visit them soon!
