"Une inoubliable expérience ! Nous avons, mes filles et moi, rencontré 4 autres familles venant de toute la France. Pendant cette semaine, nous avons formé une seule et même famille bienveillante de 16 personnes. Nous avons parfaitement géré le gîte en toute autonomie (repas, tâches ménagères...). Les activités en famille (découverte du potager, remise en état du poulailler, randonnée nocturne contée...) nous ont permis à la fois d'être utile au site du Viel Audon et de partager ensemble de beaux moments. Colin et son équipe d'animateurs se sont parfaitement occupés de nous. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !"

"Je suis allée à Dublin pour une période d’un mois se fut une expérience très enrichissante. Qui m’a fait prendre encore plus en autonomie et m’a permis de faire de superbes rencontres, j’y retournerai bien sans hésiter! Le stage en entreprise m’a permis de mieux comprendre le monde du charity shop c’était une expérience très enrichissante et j’ai également pu rencontrer pleins de personnes et évidemment bien pratiquer l’anglais."

Le voyage s'est très bien passé. Tarik est super ainsi que sa famille. Le stage de darbouka, tres bien aussi. La nuit dans le desert, superbe expérience.

"The workshop I did was great! Aliore was really responsive and they accommodated all the requests I had. I could not recommend the experience more.
I did a weaving silk workshop in Madagascar and I stayed at the weaver's house. I felt really welcomed and Rachelle and her family did everything they could to make me feel part of their house. They not only tought me how to weave a beautiful silk scarf, but also shared with me how they live and showed me the most beautiful places around their house.
Please don't think twice and go do the workshops with this association, they really help the people they sponsor and you will come back enriched from the experience!"

Je reviens d'une semaine à Séville où j'avais choisi de découvrir le flamenco à travers des cours de compas y palmas, de danse Flamenco et d'espagnol. J'ai choisi de partir seule pour vivre l'expérience pleinement et à mon rythme. J'étais enthousiaste à l'idée de faire cette semaine de découverte mais je ne savais pas qu'elle allait me marquer à ce point!! Je logeais dans l'école, réveillée par le doux son des cours de guitare puis à 10 h j'avais mon cours particulier de compas y palmas avec Pulga un professeur passionné qui m'a beaucoup appris sur la culture andalouse à travers la musique et les différents styles de flamenco, je me suis parfois arrachée les cheveux pour la coordination mais j'ai trouvé ce cours riche et tout à fait complémentaire au cours de flamenco. Puis à 11h30 je dansais avec 3 autres camarades, la rigueur, le professionnalisme et l'humour de Felipe le professeur m'ont séduite, ce fut mes premiers cours de flamenco et maintenant que je suis rentrée j'en cherche chez moi!! L'après midi j'étais libre pour visiter, j'ai pu voir tous les monuments et endroits splendides de Séville qui préparait sa Semaine Sainte puis à 17h30 Nathalia ma professeur d'espagnol m'attendait, une jeune professeur très pédagogue, on a bien rit et beaucoup appris, elle a su s'adapter à mon niveau médiocre et le cours passait très vite! Le soir nous sortions avec les élèves rencontrés sur place pour boire des bières et manger des tapas avant de s'émerveiller devant un spectacle de flamenco et rentrer dormir avec ces rythmes plein la tête pour nous bercer. Pour tout vous dire je cherche à y retourner au plus vite. Merci aux équipes qui mettent en place ce genre d'expérience, cela bouleverse, je ne peux que recommander cette aventure unique.

"4 jours et 3 nuits pour un stage de darbouka dans ce petit village de Tamegroute à 8h00 de route de Marrakech et en retour, les paysages de l'Atlas à couper le souffle, l'accueil extraordinaire des berbères,( leur humour, leur simplicité) et de Tarik et de toute sa famille. Le désert est tout proche (nuit sous les étoiles au campement à vivre absolument, en musique!). Le travail des artisans potiers, la visite de la bibliothèque... En immersion totale et retour vers l'essentiel."

"I highly recommend Aliore's Language Assistant Program! My family and I enjoyed hosting and spending time with our "student," who was also our teacher.It was wonderful to be able to explore our own surroundings with a fresh perspective. While we had fun exploring museums and activities in our surrounding area, we also learned from each other in the kitchen. Now, I can make crepes and pain perdu. All the questions asked made each of us consider how much culture--even regional culture--can shape our lives. It compelled us to acknowledge and value the positive aspects of what we have, yet appreciate how different things could be. This experience has inspired us to travel more, both within the U.S and abroad!"

The 4 weeks went very quickly and sadly Clement had to leave us and return home. I think the time he spent here in Australia gave him a really good taste for our way of life and he immersed himself at every opportunity to try new things and get out and enjoy as much of Wollongong and Sydney as he could during his stay (and a bit of Melbourne too).
He was a most affable young man and my wife and I were delighted to have him stay with us. He fitted well into our day to day routines and involved himself fully with our friends and family. Like the ongoing friendship that has continued long after my stay with the French family back in 2012, Clement is keen to stay in touch and continue to develop our friendship in the future. We are perhaps looking at visiting him and his family our next holiday to France.
I miss the daily French conversations already and I'm sure Clement's family and friends will be able to hear a bit of the Aussie accent in his English speaking, which really improved as we laughed at the many different expressions used in both languages.
Thank you for finding another great match for us in this wonderful program of yours. I hope all your tutors and their host families enjoy the fantastic interchange of language, ideas and culture as much as I have.

“I have studied French and it had been a dream of mine to live in France for a couple of years now, but my financial circumstances always held me back. Then one day I stumbled upon ALIORE and the rest was history. I was fortunate enough to have been placed with an amazing family that lives in the beautiful historic center of Montpellier. They welcomed me into their home with open arms. I was to help improve the English of the two 7 year old daughters. The family had every possible board game and book imaginable so it was never boring to practice their English. Whenever possible, the family would speak to me in French and I would attend language exchange meetings in my free time. I felt like my comprehension and spoken skills improved very much. Their schedule was quite flexible so I had the opportunity to explore the city on my free time. This program was an amazing way to have fulfilled my dream of living in France. It was inexpensive and it truly is a cultural exchange. I now have someone to visit when I go back to France!”
