    Detailed programme

The project: Belèn, Miguel Angel and their two children aged 11 and 6 live in a remote village in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees in the Aragon region. This region experienced a very intense rural exodus during the second half of the 20th century and today has many abandoned villages.
The family has created the non-profit association "Laboratorio de Ruralizacion" which is a space of learning and experimentation to generate new ways of living in the rural world.
The aim of the association is to revive these deserted lands and support the various ruralization processes by experimenting with bio-construction and agro-ecology. It is a place to discuss and plan new ways of living and socializing. Hence the family restores and develops an abandoned farm according to those principles.
